SSID is run by EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONALS & VOCATIONALS and is a unit of SRI SUKHMANI GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, established in 1972.
SSID is a venture of International Polytechnic, a premier institute offering courses in Design & Management, since 1979.
At SSID, we offer a comprehensive range of programs including undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses across various design disciplines such as Fashion, Interior and Communication.

The course in Fashion encompasses a comprehensive curriculum, starting with Foundational Skills in Design, Art History, Digital Tools, advancing through specialized subjects like Garment Technology, Fashion Merchandising, CAD Software and AI in Design. The program integrates practical skills, such as Draping Techniques and Visual Merchandising, with essential soft skills like Communication, Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Emphasizing sustainability and innovation, the course culminates in major projects and industry internships, preparing students for dynamic careers in Fashion.
The course offers a thorough exploration of Interior Design and Spatial Design, starting with fundamentals in Design Processes, Digital Tools and Art History. It progresses through specialized modules such as CAD Softwares, Colour Theory and Materials Science. The key areas include Interior and Furniture Design, Sustainability and Innovative Design Thinking. The curriculum also covers essential Business Skills, Foreign Language and Professional Ethics, concluding with Industry Projects, Internships and Entrepreneurial development.
This comprehensive program cultivates versatile designers over six semesters. It covers fundamental Design Principles, Digital Tools, Art History, progressing to advanced topics like UX/UI Design, Motion Graphics and Emerging Technologies like AI integrated UX-UI. The curriculum balances core subjects with electives, enhancing both creative and professional skills. It incorporates Industry-Relevant Subjects, Ethical Considerations and a Capstone Project, preparing graduates for diverse design careers in the digital age.
